Privacy Policy

1. General Provisions

Privacy Policy – the rules that regulate the collection, processing, use, and protection of personal data that may be requested/received when using the web portal "CIVIL SOCIETY HOUSE" (hereinafter referred to as "the HOUSE"). This portal is managed by the public organization "Initiative Center for Promoting Activity and Community Development 'Unity'" (ICPADU 'Unity', EDRPOU code 21676150).

The administrators of the HOUSE Portal respect the confidentiality of personal information of all individuals using the information posted on the Portal, as well as the Portal's subjects - registered users, providers, trainers, etc. We, therefore, aim to protect the confidentiality of personal data, thereby creating and ensuring the most comfortable conditions for using the Portal.

By filling out the registration form, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of providing role-based access, preparing statistical, administrative, and other information related to organizational development.

Before using the Portal, please carefully review your rights and obligations regarding the processing of personal data as indicated in Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and this Policy.

2. Collection and Use of Personal Data

The collection of personal data is carried out exclusively with your conscious and voluntary consent as a data subject for the use of the Portal's functional features and in accordance with the purpose of personal data processing formulated in this Policy.

The scale and type of collection and use of your personal data may vary depending on the role you intend to play in using the Portal's functional features.

Depending on the role you choose when registering on the Portal and providing data for your personal account, the following data may be required:

  • Full name, date of birth, gender, physical address, phone number, and email, link to social media profiles, photo.
  • Information related to your professional/civic activities: place of work, position, specialty, qualification, academic degree, academic title, etc.
  • Additional registration information (for service providers): EDRPOU code of a legal entity or the registration number of the tax identification card of an individual entrepreneur, the type of activity, location address, website, and additional contact information.

3. Purpose of Data Collection, Processing, and Use

The collection, processing, and use of personal data are aimed at providing role-based access, including:

  • Registration of Portal subjects (users, providers) and management (including access rights allocation to Portal structural elements and responding to inquiries).
  • Organizing electronic interaction between Portal subjects through personal accounts.
  • Aggregating and systematizing registers and structured data.

Personal data is stored for a period not exceeding the time required for the purpose of their collection, processing, and use.

4. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

The disclosure of personal data is possible in cases defined by the current legislation of Ukraine, as well as in the event of involving third parties providing technical support and/or services to improve the Portal under the terms of the agreement, with the condition of not disclosing personal data.

5. Protection of Personal Data

The Portal Administrator takes necessary procedural and technical measures to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorized access, or dissemination on the Portal. Users should be aware that when clicking on certain links provided on the Portal, they may be redirected to websites of other companies outside the Portal's hosting space, where information about users is collected beyond the direct control of the Portal. In such cases, the Privacy Policies of third-party websites and/or applications will regulate the processing of information obtained from users by these third parties.

6. Changes to the Policy

The Portal Administrator may change this Policy to accurately reflect the methods of collecting, processing, using, accessing, and protecting personal data. Therefore, it is advisable to periodically review this Policy.

7. Your Rights

By registering on the Portal, you have the right to:

  • Receive information about the sources of personal data collection, the storage location of your personal data, and the purpose of their processing.
  • Receive information about the terms of access to personal data, including information about third parties to whom your personal data is disclosed.
  • Receive information about the processing and use of your personal data, not later than thirty calendar days from the date of receipt of the request (except for cases provided by the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection").
  • Submit a substantiated request to the data controller objecting to the processing of your personal data.
  • Lodge complaints about the processing of your personal data by the data controller or data processor to the Authorized Person of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights or to the court.
  • Use legal remedies in case of violation of the legislation on personal data protection.
  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.

8. Deletion of Personal Data

A user has the right to delete all of their personal data at any time. To do this, it is sufficient to send an email with the subject "Personal Data" to the following address: support@ednannia.ua.
